It’s been a rough week for the Fashion Police host.
Joan Rivers stormed out of a interview today with CNN Newsroom host Fredricka Whitfield after she described Fashion Police as mean-spirited.
The tension escalated when Whitfield implied that Rivers was hypocritical for being an animal rights activist but wearing fur on her book cover.
“This whole interview is turning into a defensive interview,” Rivers said. “Are you wearing leather shoes? Then shut up.”
Before storming off the set, Rivers hurled one more quip to Whitfield.
“You are not the one to interview a person who does humor, sorry,” Rivers said.
